Noooo, I have the monopoly on that!!

If you got back on the straight and narrow, you would feel better, before you undo all the good you have done over the months.

I know tis easier said than done, and you need to have your head in the right place.

I think i will always be doing this now, no question about it, i have got my head sorted on that one.

I just think of all the sugar swirling around causing damage.
I will obviously still have off days, but i have never felt like this before about it.

I need to get bloods done to confirm my glucose levels are stable really, that would make me even more sure i'm doing the right thing.

And i feel angry that when i thought i was healthy eating prior to going lc, i was actually causing more damage and getting fatter.
If we were better informed, i would've and should've never got so fat in the first place.
I was perplexed that i couldnt lose weight as i was eating low fat, dried fruits, smoothies, grape juice, bananas, seeds, grapes and apples etc :eek::eek:
  • I know :o this 'blip' has become an extended carb-fest & I'm probably eating more than ever which is not doing my health, mental & physical, any good at all.

I keep saying I'm going to get organised, make menu plans, finish reading my IPD book & finally get my head in the right place but I just can't seem to do it atm. Very frustrating for me. I'm not a happy bunny atm.

Garages? What the heck is wrong with you two? Do you not have beds? ;) Sawyer would be tied to mine.:rotfl:

Sweet, I'm sorry to say I'm kinda in the same space as you at the moment. My new improved mood lasted all of 2 days before I went on a massive downer again and my eating habits are as bad as they ever were. I need to change my life before I can successfully change my eating, I think. :undecided

  • Hello cazxx 1 :)
If you go back to page 1, there is a list there of all our favourite recipes which also includes a chicken curry (if you are veggie you could always substitute the chicken with quorn or tofu).

Went down to the garden this afternoon and did some digging as it was so nice out. Think I've caught the sun just a little on my face.
Vegetarian. Have cut out all high carb food. Not following any particular plan.Started 20/1/2009. Weight lost so far 29lbs. Target weight loss 38lb in total.

I really do understand, the time has to be right for me to stick to a diet too.

I tried and tried for a few months before getting my head right this time.

I would start dieting at breakfast, and be off it by lunchtime.

So i know exactly how you feel.

You will not be able to stick to it til the time is right for you, so stop worrying and wait til you feel up to it.
