Single and in Debt Part II

Right, following a very whiny PM which I sent to a very kind person (sorry about that:A) I have decided to add up my actual debt. It is huge, but a little less than I feared. Due to the nature of my job I get different amounts of pay and it also depends on reaching targets and getting bonuses. I can sometimes pay lots off, other times I make the minimum payment and other times I add to the debt.
Not long ago I was actually tecnically debt free as I owed less and had more in savings, but a couple of rubbish months paywise combined with large bills and having to live on savings means I am now back in debt again. Not by a huge amount but I am not happy about it.
My plan is to tackle the overdraft first. When that is done I will use the overdraft to pay of each cc/debt in turn and bash it down from there. It will be easier to do it that way as although the interest rate on my overdraft is higher than on other debts, if it is in my overdraft I can make payments instantly to it and it will alllow me to close other things down straight away and not run them up again. I have to clear my overdraft first though, which is quite large. That in itself is going to take a few months and while I am doing that I will only be able to make the minimum payments on the others.
I also have a small dd set up to my savings which I will keep paying as I need to have some money put aside, for months like the past couple where I have needed to live on them and eventually for a house. When all this is paid of my actual outgoings will be fairly small and I may at last be able to afford a mortgage, with rent and debt repayments I am paying more than a mortgage each month anyway. Not to mention all the unnecessary rubish I buy all the time.:rolleyes:Pay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0 -

Hello
Well, I survived my date. Had a nice time and we seemed to have quite a lot to talk about. I'm not a great judge of character though and try not to judge people too quickly, so it'll take a few more dates for me to get an idea of what he's like, but there was noise made of a second date, so we'll see what happens. One tip though - try not to have a totally inappropriate song in your head when going on a first date. Driving there, that Lily Allen song came on the radio and just wouldn't leave my head. I was quite paranoid, I might start singing or humming it randomly. Eeek. Anyway, it worked out quite cheap too, just a fiver for a pub lunch and then a walk (free!), so it worked out quite well.
There's a lot of rubbish days going around at the minute. I've been feeling a bit fed up today about everything I have to do (and fat aswell if I'm honest), but I wrote a mammoth list yesterday of everything I want to get done. I'm going to get it out and crack on tomorrow, but I think I've already done a few things today. I need to start remembering my own advice for just doing little things everyday I think.
I'm still continuing with the spending diary and yesterday at work, I printed off all the Daily clicks info. Got to read that tomorrow and start getting into a routine of doing it. Little steps...

He was, yeah. He'd added a couple of inches onto his height I reckon (as long as they're not necessary anywhere else ;-)), but yeah, he was cute. Unfortunately, there was no snoggage. Pretty hard to get a snog in, when you're out in the countryside surrounded by a load of climbers. Might try to make the next date an evening affair.Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending0 -
