Am still reeling from the fact that you have 15 bikinis:rotfl:
But remember only 3 still fit - and those 3 don't look good :mad:Sometimes it's hard to walk in a single woman's shoes - that's why we need really special ones!Total debt @ Oct 2008: £29,226.42 Credit Card- £[STRIKE]7493.56[/STRIKE] - £7243.56Weightloss : 0/34lbs0 -
Must try to make this payday last and not live one week like a queen and the next three and a half like a pauper.
That is how I have lived my life since my first ever pay packet:rolleyes: I am trying to be one of those people who have money left over at the end of the month, instead of counting the days to payday by week 2. Me too! Ever since I was 18
But as Gwen said there is no point in dwelling on what we should/could have done - we need to concentrate on being F Fabulous now
I know I've had a few 'down' days recently and felt I was making no progress but I realised that this is the first year in about 20ish years that my debt hasn't increased, year on year!!! Hi
Jealous of the spa makeup! Let us know what its like. Never had a spa weekend.
Thanks Gwen. I got DF in November and have been able to afford to splash out a bit.
I'm taking my sis for her birthday - she is pregnant and my niece (20 mths) isn't a great sleeper so she is often really tired and also she doesn't have a lot of cash with the new one on the way and my bro-IL's job is very uncertain at the moment which is of course very worrying for them so it was really nice to be able to treat her. I think I got us a good deal though - we are booked in for a facial and the spa sounds lovely with all manner of pools and steam rooms and something called a tranquility room () Then we have dinner there and breakfast the next morning.
It is near Southport and I've never been there so did a bit of internet research today and seems like there are some nice things in the area to see / do.I've got my own flat :j:j
Now I have to pay the bills
And feed my interiors addiction0 -

This made me laugh so much! My best friend is absolutely ace and if we're having rubbish days, we call each other up, let each other vent and go 'But its fine, cos we know that we're great. We're great, we are!'
I called her last night, she was on her way to the gym. I was asking if she'd seen this fella that messed her about a bit since she was back from holiday and she said 'No, not yet, but its fine. I know that I'm hot!' Ha, ha, ha! F Fabulous!Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending0 -

Sounds lovely and what a nice treat for your sister. Thats so kind. I'm sure you'll both have a great time.
My friend wanted us to have a spa weekend this year, but looking at my finances, it isn't going to happen - unless I seriously get my @rse in gear about matched betting...Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending0 -
Morning all & welcome back TDQ :j
would have done it in pink but you are a boy so resisted
Sorry to hear everyone had rubbish days yesterday - mine was quite good, spent £43.11 in Tatco of which £20 was on grocereis, the rest on household & toiletry things then another £10 on fuel & another £12 on plants at the garden centre.
Having a NSD today as spending the day in the garden working on my cottage look & recovering lost tribes from the undergrowth
Have just realised that even if I dont spend a penny until next friday I still wont make this months NSD target
Going to get my summer clothes stash out this week end & see what I can squeeze into. I did wander into M&S yesterday to see if there were any swimmies I could buy but the only one I liked wasnt in either of my sizes & it was £25  - Shoe Gal nice bikini collection, I only have 5, 1 tankini & 3 costumes - must buy more
Have a good day all0 -
Sorry to hear about the partial outbreak of pants-ness yesterday. I was just in quiet mode (yes, it is possible), apart from laughing long and loud at The Inbetweeners. Yes, I know...but I'm afraid I do find it really funny.
I was starting to get a bit down at the number of things on my to-do list that I haven't done, so I have taken a radical approach and crossed half of them out.Since doing that, I've virtually completed what was left, and will finish the list off this afternoon by cancelling subscriptions to all mags I do not absolutely love. I'm also busy quidco-ing the car insurance, although I've had to write off the idea of any cash back on the house insurance, as I get the "please phone for a quote" everytime.
I've just made my NSD target for the month, although I will be nowhere near on the make £10 a day. I seem totally incapable of listing anything on eBay this month, although I am happily buying things.
Wish me luck for a traumatic day tomorrow; I am going in search of a new tankini. (bikini count 0, tankini count 4, sarong count rising) We are on holiday in Julyand I thought I would rather get it over with now, particularly as I will be able to loiter for some hours unaccompanied, which is my preferred shopping mode. I have decided to leave off the gradual tan so that I am not worried about it coming off in the changing rooms, and also so that I can only look better when I actually wear whatever full body covering swimwear I manage to purchase (as I will be golden and flabby, rather than pale and flabby when I finally wear it ). If you hear distress calls from M&S/Debenhams etc, that'll be me howling at the mirror. Shoe Gal - what day are you off? - can't be long now...
:j
Glad you found something lovely for the garden, Lula. Mine has completely changed colour this week, as all the daffs and narcissi have finished, and the bluebells, grape hyacinths and tulips are all out. There are also a large number of dandelions on the lawn, so I have threatened them with the close proximity of the compost heap. Either that or I need some friendly beasties to come along for a meal...
Hope you are all having a better and F fabulous Friday. :A0 -
Hello All!
I'm starting to feel better! Have been completely depressed the past 3 days. I am starting to feel better though and am getting happier knowing that I will have £1k to chuck at my debts per month! Which is good since I have a ridiculous amount of debt.
It's starting to sink in that I won't end up destitute! Anway, I was offered another job this week also!
Buses, eh? Well, hopefully it will start happening with the men soon!
Anyway, I have a glass of white wine and some munchies, then will make a thai green chicken curry packed with chillies!!! What is everyone else up to?
