Based on Sensemaya's recommendation (no pressure then!!), have just ordered a set :)

Curious though, what's the brush that looks like a fan used for?

I have one of those, I've never found a use for it:p

That's strange because the item ends on 2nd May...

Can't wait to see LG's next appearance on QVC...30th April, but I don't think I will be purchasing. Wondering whether her TSV will be the same one as on the US site. I was going to try her B 'n' B but got enough foundation now. Thing is with these kits brushes are always included, so you end up with too many. Suppose there is ebay to sell them.

I visited one of their outlet shops recently and there is a lot of cheap tat in there...and no beauty products were available.

Ah sorry Sensemaya - I was talking about the first item number you gave!!

LG Balance and Brighten is fabby :) I use that as my weekend makeup as I like to try and not wear foundation (and I use a liquid one), 7 days a week.

As I said before it seems like you never make a dent in her stuff!!!

May have a wee sneaky peek at the TSV myself....:o

My brushes came yesterday and seem lovely - haven't used them yet but the quality is superb and reminded of a set in Harvey Nicols by Bobbi Brown that I covet.

Also I only have one eyeshadow.eyeliner brush by Laura Geller (got in a TSV) and I agree Sensemaya, they seem the same quality as that.

I'm really pleased with purchase - thanks for putting me onto them Sensemaya x

PS About Smashbox. QVC is not this brand's exclusive UK supplier.

    http://www.justbeautydirect.co.uk/

Service is excellent and they have Halo light on sale for £23 excluding brush.

just wanted to say thanks for recommending this site. I ordered some smashbox eyeliner and bare escentuals powder from their sale and it turned up in two days, all nice packaged in little organza bags. Would definitely use them again. Unfortunately they had run out of the light Halo powder when I went on, so hopefully they'll get it back in stock.

On the subject of brushes, can anybody recommend a really good large powder/flawless face type brush? I have just bought the Elemental Beauty dumpy powder brush but obviously that's only handbag size. I'm on the lookout for a really big sweep-over-the-face sort of brush if I can find a good one (suitable for use with mineral veil type finishing powder). When it comes down to it I would be prepared to splash out if I have to, but if there is a really good one available for a bargain price then obviously I'd prefer that!

(Also I'm really curious about your username, Sensemaya. Is that as in the orchestral piece by Revueltas?)

That dumpy brush is pretty good for all of your make up! Unless you have an extremely large face - its more than good enough to apply your MM! Plus the handle is longer than that of a kabuki, which I prefer.

I have loads of brushes - and use only that one - and a cheap sponge thing for my eyeshadow.

Bit like when I started painting, bought tons of brushes and only use a few! :D

I know what you mean about the long handle - my kabuki is the one from Iona Cosmetics which Suki (I think) recommended, which also has a long handle. I couldn't get on with one of those little stubby ones. It's all in the wrist action :p
