We haven't been yet. We gave tickets to my mum on Mother's day for a date in April. Only downside is that they do have 'Restricted View' written across the ticket (so she knows I probably didn't buy them full price!)
I rang and got mine from the Box Office with absolutely no problems with my credit card and chose to pick them up from the box office (as I work nearby) otherwise they were just going to post them to me. I rang and said I was interested in buying two tickets in the first two rows of the stalls and they quoted me the prices and even told me the best dates to book where the seats were better, towards the middle of the central aisle in the 2nd row.
I went to see it myself a couple of months ago and sat in the 2nd row - you did have to look up slightly, but like OP has already said, the acting is terrific, so you can actually see the facial expressions being so close - I didn't affect my viewing enjoyment in the slightest.0 -
Have just called the box office on 0207 834 1317 & booked these tickets for Sat 16 May. £2.50 booking fee for transaction & they are being posted out.
Thanks for the tip.0 -

The only £25/27.50 seats that are available to book over the phone with the box office are stalls row B (28 seats, although I would avoid any above 21 as the view becomes very restrictive)
Stall row A (10 seats) are sold as 'Day Seats' and are only sold each morning from about 10am. You have to call personally at the box office and these can only be purchased using a debit/credit card (unless you are under 18 and have ID with you). You can purchase a maximum of 2 day seats per person.
Hope this helps.0 -
The Box Office staff are very friendly. Just got 4 X row B tickets for Wednesday 15th April, just off-centre.:jC'mon you Canaries!!0

they claim its restricted view, as its eye-level with stage and not looking down on the stage - but i sat in the front row at the weekend with my kids, and you get a fantastic atmosphere being so close, and view is not a problem at all (language is a bit strong and gritty in places though !!)
you can see every emotion in the actors/actresses faces as most of the action is at the front of the stage - you just can't see their feet when they are at the back of the stage, but so what!!!
superb show
