ideas for hiding electric box ?
Comments
-
If you do 'box it in' remember that all those electrical connections and switches and fuses etc. have to be accessible for maintenance WITHOUT THE USE OF A TOOL - ie. a spark needs to be able to get in there with screwdrivers etc. and be able to work 'SAFELY' and he needs to be able to do this without using a tool to gain access - so you might want to design said seat so that it comes apart with minimal effort.0

Some great ideas thank you .
The guy is an electrician but also does building work ?0 -
No offense, but no self respecting spark would lower themselves to mere 'builder'. :rotfl:
When coupled with the fact that he has only quoted £200 for the work, I would check his scheme registration credentials. Alternatively, if he is not scheme regsitered and prefers to notify his work directly with your local Building Control Dept. then I do not see how he can possibly manage to do the work for £200 inclusive.
If your builder/spark/wannabe claims his 'mate' will do a cert, send him packing - likewise if he claims it is not notifiable.0
