Beautiful day here too, I have a day off after driving up to Darlington yesterday.
Woke up this morning (insert blues riff here) and the sky was beautiful blue, the flowers that Jess & I planted on Sunday look fab and the daffodils that we planted round the tree on our little 'green' in the centre of the cul-de-sac look lovely, it's really cheered the street up, I hope the neighbours are as appreciative of them.
...Linda xx
I think I'll be hanging some washing out today. It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -
Look, (closely) daffys round the twee!

morning all -
nothing much to report here but the sun is trying to break thru and it just feels like a positive day!!
Into a pair of previously too tight trousers for work today, so that has put me in a good mood!
Got some washing done overnight and hung out this morning, and another load in which i wil ask my lovely mum across the road to hang out for me....
Runclub tonight, it's the mile long hill tonight, then some short sharp hills... ugh!!
Am slightly bummed as there is a stationery trade show on locally and the freebies are always amazing, but this office isn't the kinda place that encourages participation at those kinda events... if i knuckle down today and get my work done, I am gonna ask if i can go later on, but setting myself up for a "no"..... Gutted!!
If i get any nice freebies, i will share with y'all!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -

Booky - If it makes you feel better, I don't iron my xmas table cloth until xmas eve.......and the sun's shining here too.
Rough nights sleep last night, DH was in an accident yesterday, 2 cars shunted him in the rear, luckily it wasn't our car. He's got a nasty dose of whiplash (not that you can get a nice dose) and he's swollen and bruised all down his back. Have just got back from the hospital who just said - oh yes, will get worse before it gets better......don't you love them.
Going make good use of him being at home and get him to make all the "moving house" phone calls :T"Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -
