it is sooooooooo dry. Deliberately bought that dry for the recipe but it's _pale_ to drink - put some into a shot glass and thought - I could bring paint off with that!. I've never fancied the idea of sherry in a trifle.
In fact, I don't think I've ever tried sherry in trifle........don't think my Mum put sherry into her 1970s Bird's Trifle mixes!! :rotfl:
Just checked my bank account - if my WTC payments are given to me any earlier in the month, they will be giving me them a month before they are due! They started off being paid on the 2nd and have worked themselves back to me getting the April payment today!"Stay Wonky":D

I used to work for a charity fundraising company which was door to door, the amount of abuse I got was unreal. Old ladies yelling at me, people swearing at me, people setting dogs at me. So yeah, never doing that again.Not an expert, but I try and contribute and I'll always listen. Middle child of middle child parents. I drink way too much coffee.
