    Hi

I had an OU assessor here at my home last week and asked her about the £250 grant. She said that its not taken into account towards any benefits including Income Support.

Can I ask how long the OU assessor was at your home for? I received a phone call within the last 20 minutes from an OU assessor who said they were going to call with me and they were going to bring a trainee assessor with them. What happens? I am really not looking forward to this. Please do not feel obliged to respond or if you prefer you can pm me. THANKS!

I no longer work in Council Tax Recovery but instead work as a specialist Council Tax paralegal assisting landlords and Council Tax payers with council tax disputes and valuation tribunals. My views are my own reading of the law and you should always check with the local authority in question.
  • I'm doing KX100 but the online version. Finding it ok so far.
