Theres no shame in BR it helps some people out of a very tricky situation as it did me

The OR could not give a monkeys what suit you wear to the interview or if you cannot remember what you did with the money
the judge looks at your petition and says ok and signs the form

ok it might have been a little bit different 5 yrs ago but its still the same thing just not as stigmatised as it previously was years gone bye

and then another
3 days till i go BR and what shall i wear and what should i take with me
or songs to go BR too

They are the only posts that get answered
I managed to do all of it by myself not knowing this forum existed and probably didnt then didnt need good luck today messages

Just need an answer to a question which i would then follow up with an update thus helping others with an update

sorry for being so anti this site at the moment but its just everyone posting rubbish that does not help anyone and just want an ecuddle not helping anyone in the long term

There are people here who are willing to help others and who will have seen the same questions and concerns asked over and over and over again.

Bully for you for going BR on your own, but there are people who don't know a thing about bankruptcy until they have come here and think this could be their only way out.

If you don't like the threads/the board/the whole forum, then there are plenty of other places to go.

Ahhhh, I can see why you have a bee in your bonnet now.

You are miffed and annoyed because you want people to answer you and not reply to the 'silly as you call them' other threads which are 'clogging up the board'.

Have you ever thought that maybe people don't know the answer to your question/s and that's why you haven't had much help?

There's no need to post and rant because others are getting advice and replies and you're not ~ again, people might not know how to help you, it doesn't mean they are being ignorant, or rude, or more interested in helping someone 'pick their outfit for the court/OR'....

Saw your comments at 1 am - what irks me is your "apologies..." - you know you never need to apologise for something you don't say.

I think you should be exceptionally proud of yourself for having had the ability, the presence of mind, support of friends and family, and triage capabilities to deal with your situation. I applaud you and congratulate you on your success.

Unfortunately I happen to be human, a failed individual without any family or friendships to give me any kind of support or guidance. There are days when I speak with nobody, because I am either not working on contract or don't have money or purposefully avoid spending (which as my depression has lessened has become so much easier).

I have learnt more from these people than I have reading the Child Poverty Action group's book on Debt Advice - which is where I was looking to see if there was a definitive answer to your problem. However, after I read your threads, I really didn't want to give you any information because what do I know? I am simply researching it so I don't make bloody huge mistakes that will affect me for the next six years and beyond.

I envy your abilities to have coped, and I wish I had the strength and intellectual fortitude to do it all alone, because then I could add that to my personal list of things to feel bitter about and hold against society.

A lot of people here take time out to help ANYONE in need of answers....sometimes some get missed because its so busy & believe it or not some of the regulars do have a life away from here as well...they ask for NO thanks at all......those so called "crappy" posts help people in more ways you'll ever be able to imagine....suppose your going to complain on DFW about the diary pages as well?

You never hear anyone here complain if someone takes time out to research an answer & then gets no thanks yet we always carry on.....i've stayed here helping others now for over 2yrs

I find your post totally useless TBH.....and with a chip as big as yours your lucky ANYONE answers any of your posts

coldoasis thinks he`s the big guy eh. people like you make me want to throw up, probably used to be the school bully and ended up sad, angry and lonely. there has been a great deal of help and support on this forum for me.

Dear OP....

Without this site and this particular board i dont believe that my wife and i would have found the strength to go through with our BR.

This board helps people in ways that are very often overlooked, even things like people coming here and reading about other peoples situations and then thinking to themselves "my problems dont seem so bad by comparison" can help people a lot...i know it did for me.

For the first time in 3 years my family has a definite direction, and we are probably even optimistic about what happens after the 1st April, and thats all because of the wonderful amazing people who frequent this board.

So OP i suggest you take a look at what you wrote and then write an apology to go along with it, you could well have put people off using this amazing board.

Yes, the board is very busy.
Yes, there are a lot of "trivial" posts.
Yes, there are a number of people who don't report back ......
but.......
perhaps it is because some people need the type of support that an ecuddle provides and seeing as this board is for help,advice and SUPPORT then it is fulfilling it's purpose. Anyone has the right to post one here, just as anyone has the right to not read the posts.

I got through BR (mine was with extensive help from here) and the OR interview and am hanging around to help if I can ....
please don't knock the board. If you don't like it, look elsewhere.
