Tuesday is Intrigue - is no-one checking these passwords properly? 3 of us in Paris the week before Easter for £92 - tres bien!

I got bored being told dates were unavailable so I rang 08701 610110 and a nice lady searched/booked for me for a fiver - a sound investment!

Well I managed to book a deal online A DAY EARLY using the 4 passwords I noted in a previous post.

I assume Culture will be one of the passwords to be given out in the next few days....anyway, it worked for me.

Yes there is limited availabty, I have just booked and they didn't have the dates I wanted 10/12 of April, I can get a staff discount and I asked if I used that instead of this offer would there be seats available and was told yes.

From the Eurostar website:

Book between 28 February and 28 March 2006 inclusive and travel between 14 March and 28 June 2006 inclusive. You must book at least 14 days in advance, and it is recommended that you book early to get the best availability.

Booking Tips

There is likely to be strictly limited availability on Friday and Sunday afternoons and early evenings. Certain trains are more popular than others and so the earlier you book, the better chance you will have of obtaining seats on the train of your choice. For daytrips and short breaks, try the first and last trains of the day. For weekend travel, seats are more likely to be found on trains departing on Thursday afternoons, Friday mornings or Saturday afternoons returning to London on Sunday or Monday mornings. In particular there is no availability for this promotion on 10, 11, 12, 13, 31 March, 1, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 28, 29, 30, April, 1, 2, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, June and the following dates will have restricted availability: 2, 3 April, 2, 3, 4, 5 June.

I booked this offer in the afternoon but the price seemed high to me (all that was available came up as £118 for two people). I rang their customer service department and complained because I felt I was overcharged not due to my own fault (their site kept having problems today) and they cancelled my booking and made a new booking for £40 less.
