it would cost an extra £25 on a £140 policy. does this sound good value?
If I didnt take it out and had an accident that was not my fault would my insurance company still help me?

I would add legal cover. Makes life a lot easier if you need to claim against someone. £25 ain't bad.If i could i would, but i cannot so i wont, but maybe one day i will.0

I have it on home insurance. Remember that if you do have an accident then your insurers will SELL your claim on for up to 800 pounds to one of their panel of solicitors. Always find your own solicitor.0

Its not just your insurers that try to sell the claim on... brokers do so do some garages!
Its amazing when you have an non fault accident how many ambulance chasers ring you.0 -
Useless money making scheme.
I had it a few years back, When a driver who had borrowed his parents car whilst they were on holiday and he hit my car.
The legal team told me they had tried to contact him but was unable & not worth anymore effort to try and trace him.0 -
Its like any product, you get good providers and bad providers.
I have noticed that some of the poorer providers give a very low priority to claims such as just excesses where there is no juicy Credit Hire aor Personal Injury claim for them to make money on.0
