www.travelrepublic.co.uk would be a good place to start.

I am using Thomas Cook this year but would recomend looking on https://www.alpharooms.com .If winter comes, can spring be far behind?
Spring begins on 21st March.0 -
I used Lowcostbeds last year and had no problems. Will probably use them again this year. I found a site called https://www.sunshine.co.uk which can do the accomodation I want a little cheaper, but I don't know if they are any good.0

Personally, I would always recommend booking direct with the hotel - if you know which hotel..! The should be able to offer you the best deal and at least there's no "middle-man" to confuse the issue.
have a look at my other thread too...

Good luck!
I think this works best at small hotels and UK hotels. In Spain for example it is normal to get quoted much higher than a tour operator price and some hotels just won't even offer you the option.0
