Hi there
I've been a doofus and forgotten my password for my old laptop.
I haven't used it for 2yrs. But my new laptop needs a repair and it's the only way I will be able to get online
I can't login Is there any way I can get past this problem so I can change the password?
the operating system is XP
Thanks in advance :0)

On the login screen press ctrl+atl+delete twice then in the username box type Administrator and leave the password box blank and press ok. If that doesn't work you will have to use a tool to reset or find the password like ophcrack http://ophcrack.sourceforge.net/
this one is quicker and a lot smaller download http://home.eunet.no/pnordahl/ntpasswd/
Download is at the bottom of the page.0 -
