A QUICK WHINGE :) Southern Gas

I moved home 16th Feb and gave Southern my final Gas and Elec readings and new address. A few days later my new neighbour gave me my final bills (wrong address), turns out i was £47ish in credit for my elec and owed £83ish for the gas. I rang Southern to correct the address and they informed me they would either credit the gas account with £47 or send a cheque. I asked for them to credit the gas account leaving me with a balance owing of £35 which they told me they would send me an adjusted final bill.
Few days later when speaking to the neighbour she told me she had recieved a letter for me from Southern which she returned, rung Southern again to inform them of my correct address AGAIN and they told me they had sent a cheque ( the letter the neighbour returned). Southern said they would cancel the cheque by filling a form out, credit my gas account and send me adjusted bill. Last week i got my RED Gas bill for £83......no electric credit for £47. Rung again to be told they would cancel the cheque by filling a form out (which hadnt been done the 1st time) and credit my gas account...grrr....BANGING MY HEAD AGAINST A BRICK WALL.....how long will this go on for????? x

I never had a problem with Southern until I switched to British Gas on 19th January. At the time I owed £30 for gas and was in credit by £70 for electricity. Southern sent me a final bill for the £30 debit, but despite many phone calls they have not yet sent me the account (and the refund) for the electricity. Today they told me it would take them at least another two more weeks to produce the account. That will be more than 10 weeks. Grrrr. And I haven't received my cashback from Energylinx yet, 5 weeks late up to now.0
