Barratt Homes Quality

I'm currently renting a 2 year old Barratt Home's flat but am looking to buy in the near future. Unfortunately my experience hear has not been a good one. I've been in it since new and already the taps have broken in the kitchen, the washing machine never worked from the start and a boiler has fallen off it's brackets and hit me on the head when I opened the cupboard door. This is not to mention the door frames are coming off the walls and there is strict clamping and limited parking for deliveries or visitors. Is this poor quality common for new Barratt Homes?

You can't really say. You have to bear in mind that these houses are actually built by people who don't really care about them as they're only getting paid to put the thing up and their involvement stops there. Other developers will be the same - some of their workforce will be good, others will be terrible.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

I worked briefly for Barratt and others years ago. I have to say the rush to get Barret houses finished was a nightmare, hence the low quality. Left in disgust. Most of the others nearly as bad but some good ones about.0

This is a report on an internal memo, so this could well be representative of company policy.
What do you think it says about the quality?0
