Do we need to know how many before criteria marking?

Hi all

another query from me!

We have been told up to 19 jobs are going from our company. Out of these we were initially told 2-3 from our team but now we have been told 3-4 will got from my department out of 5 of us who are at risk (4 BDM, 1 admin).

They are talking of marking the criteria on Thursday but we still do not know how many from our department are going to be made redundant - is it 3, is it 4?

I thought I had read somewhere that they have to inform us of this prior to the redundancy being announced.

Today our departmental head emailed us to 'confirm' that 3 BDM jobs are at risk but this is still not telling us how many redundancys will be made from our team

Is this the case that we should be aware of the amount of job losses and not at risk positions prior to the event?
