I really hope that someone can help me..... I installed greasy palm rebate catcher on my computer and since then, my computer is doing its nut! It really isn't a happy bunny :-(
I went to my add/remove programs, then tried to uninstall my rebate catcher which is showing 183200mb
"Installation log file not found" comes up and it won't do anything else.
Can someone please help me as I want my computer back to normal.
Many thanks.

Hi minimoneysaver
Another thing I'd suggest is to click on Start, Run, then type in 'regedit'. This will take you into the registry where you can search for all the files that aren't automatically removed when you uninstall a program. It's these programs that could be causing the problems you're having. Once you're into the registry, click on Edit, Find, and type in greasy palm rebate catcher .... anything containing those words will then come up when you run the search, so it's something that needs to be done carefully and steadily. If you're not confident about doing it, ask someone you know to help with it. If you do go ahead and do it yourself, be very careful what you delete ... look carefully at the location of each item that is found, and if you recognise it as the location greasy palm was installed in, delete the entry (right click and delete, or use the delete key) then press F3 to find the next item.
Once the search is done and items removed, check that there aren't any other files/folders lurking e.g. in Program Files etc. Click on Start, Search, and type in greasy palm rebate catcher. Again, be careful about deleting, if you have any other programs that involve those words.
Make sure that if in doubt about deleting anything, you don't delete it. I'd definitely try Restore first, if you are worried about using Regedit.

is greasy palm listed under the start menu? it might have its own uninstall application that doesnt integrate with the windows integrated uninstaller.....0

I can't find a greasy palm uninstaller in the start menu. It doesn't appear to be in there at all. I think it has inter-twined its way into all of my computer programs!0

Get this https://www.ccleaner.com download it and run ot then got to Tools
Uninstall, highlight the program and then click uninstall and this should
forcibly remove the program.
