I know that this is really boring, and probably can't be done, but here goes anyway!

When I've view and entered (or not as the case may be) a competition, and duly hit the "thanks" button, it would be great is a little tick could be shown on that thread (like the subscribed threads show a little icon).

That way I would know that I've been into that thread and entered already and it saves me going back into it when someone bumps it.

I know - I'm being lazy not just going in and looking - but, would this be possible or not?

    What does anyone think???

I subscribe to every comp I enter

on the comp page click, thread tools --> subscribe to this thread --> add subscription

if its plastic it won't be connected to a wire - might be used to release the shields on the socket so the other two pins can go in. Hubby says if you can plug it in it should be usable.

If Izzy has chewed the cable that's different matter entirely.....:D

cheers essexgal (and mr essexgal!) ... that's what I thought but I worry so much and OH isn't here to check with :D She hasn't chewed the cable ... although it is surprising seeing as my Nintendo DS charger now doesn't work due to chewing and the plug for the handheld hoover charger isn't actually connected to the hoover anymore

  • FE - What do you wanna know about the MEN??

    It's about floor seating.

OK, so normal arena floors, eg Earls Court, Echo Arena, 02 Arena, etc, go from left to right: A, B, C.

The MEN is the other way around. If I am seat 14 in block A (in row E, not that it matters), does the numbering go from left to right or right to left? Eg am I on the outer edge or nearer the middle of the entire floor IYSWIM?

Cos the Liverpool Philharmonic floor, the stalls s one big area but rather than left to right 1-50 or whatever the seat numbers are, it's the other way around left to right 50-1, so was wondering how it works at the MEN...

the OH's been offered the internship he went for the interview for the other week!
his final project for his course is allowed to be an internship and he's the one thats been chosen for it :)
thing is, he's not sure he can take it, as it means he wouldn't get what he wanted from the course, but taking it would pretty much guarentee him a decent job there for ages! Its in the field he wants, and they'll pay him through it, and it's closer to home (Pompey instead of London) which means I'd get to see him a lot more \o/

I don't know whether to be happy or sad, since he's so confused. I've told him to talk to our friends who know a lot about this field but they'd like an answer soon :(

Yes I work there. Block A, for this, is on the arena floor, so right up close. They're great seats.
