The Compers Inn - Part 15

Hello everyone, I have not been in here for ages, and I know its silly but I felt a little scared about popping in today, some days have not been on at all, and sometimes have only been popping into the comps forum for a few hours over the weekends trying to win stuff for a raffle (my DD is running the marathon this year for the charity that I work for) sorry I haven’t popped in to say hello. I haven’t won anything for a while, nothing this month and a CD last month. Work has been so busy I have been doing really long hours, the charity provides support for women/children that have experienced abuse, not sure if anyone remembers I said back end of last year that we were having a review at work and if we didn’t pass we would lose funding, we got the decision on Wednesday that our funding is secure until 2011, so that is a relief and I can start to relax a bit. Sorry I have gone on a bit
I hope everybody is well,
Happy Birthday to all that I have missed
I wondered where u had been xxx
Hope u r ok and glad to see u back xxxxxx (((((hugs))))) xxxxx#JusticeForGrenfell0 -
It's hailing here. It's got such force it's bouncing off the ground a foot or so in the air! Rubbish weather!!
Hi Kimmy
Life is all about the journey.0 -
 aww, that's horrible nicky, i used to always plant flowers & bulbs round my dad's but had the same problem , breaks your heart  why people do these things i don't understand, there's always empty beer cans & spliff ends all over the place whenever i go visit, once had a word with the council who own the land, but that was a waste of time  big hugs for you & your family
as toomanykids says , they'll get theirs
well, better get stuck in some comps, had family visiting this morning & haven't had a chance to sneak in here & get some done
catch u all later xx please be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly.

hope you are ok kimmy
no snow or hail here but it'd freeze the b@lls off a brass monkey alright! talking of which Nicky! your poor OH! can imagine him trying to scratch without anyone noticing, poor lamb
We've all had it except the youngest two, I was expecting DD2 when it last did the rounds in here. Everytime I look at her she's broke out in a fresh crop  And I had to go look it up didn't I to find out why it was called chicken pox and apparently it was a highly respected doctor who commented many moons ago that it was like the "chicken" or spineless version of small pox hence the name. I didn't know that!NoNameWoman wrote: »OK washing in, bets on
(I have only two bets: one accumulator of 6 horses/football with some outsiders and one treble horses).

It has been hail stones here, big ones! And it is freezing.
We are all having chicken casserole tonight, in slow cooker.
Going out to have dinner tomorrow and dd is inviting a friend, the fussy eater which I have found out loves roast dinners, if i known that before I would have cooked roast dinners for her!
Out this morning getting supplies for school disco friday and remaining few easter eggs, I have 20 now to donate for school easter raffle, we should have over 40 eggs now, so just need to encourage children to buy raffle tickets.
Hope everyone is well and happy.

Hi all!
Was having a lovely quiet day, too quiet as I just discovered DD2 has been chopping off her hair. She has now got no fringe at all and tufts missing everywhere! OH has had to rush her down the hairdressers and the only one that could fit her in is soooo expensive. Poor thing, she is very girlie and was so upset, all I could do was
, which made her cry even more. Bless, what would we do without kids!. August wins: BBQ, Solar Garden Lights, Seeds0
