I stayed with them because I managed, after being a customer for so long, to negotiate the price down massively so its now a lot cheaper for unlimited access (I need it ) than any competitor.. as much as I abhore their CS, the connections usually decent enough..

I don't use their software, I set my router up to connect direct to their network so huzzah! no AOL software in sight

Thanks for the tipoff T-J ... just got a costume for my mates 21st next week!! ( should also point out that there are some incredible bargains in the kids clothes sale bit!! .... am still browsing and my basket is huge!!! LOL

Hi folks,

On the weekend of April 3rd-5th we wil be performing a major upgrade to the Forum. Unfortunately, this will require it's closure for a siginificant amount of time so from 10pm on Friday April 3rd, the Forum wil be closed to users and we expect it to be down for most, if not all of Saturday and possibly some of Sunday.

Of course, we wil try and bring it up as soon as possible but this is a major work so we need to allow plenty of time to test it. The main site, articles and tools will be unaffected.

Now, a whole week to make some plans

Phew... I was worried my last comping day before my holiday had just been cancelled - but it's ok, it shuts at 10pm next Friday.

What are you gonna do? I know what I'm gonna do... drive down to gatwick on Friday night, get on a plane on Saturday and go to my villa, and go shopping in Florida on Sunday! :):)
