    Please Help!

I've recently started driving the 3 miles to nursery, walking home, then back and driving home. (I can't walk with DS cos it has some very steep hills, too far for him at 3!)

Anyway, I've just started the walk home, got half way and was being crippled by 'shin splints?' I thought I could walk it out, but the thought of the huge hill on the way back, I knew I wouldn't be able to do it.

So, Please, anybody, have you ever suffered with shin splints and whats the best way to deal with?
I really don't want to give up now
EXTRA GOOD LUCK EVERYONE FOR 2015. XXX

I haven't had them but I believe the best treatment for shin splints is rest? Sorry if that's not what you wanted to hear. Although as I'm not in any way qualified as a sports therapist/doctor etc I would probably check!

    Here is a link I found - http://www.sportsinjuryclinic.net/cybertherapist/front/lowerleg/shinsplints.htm.
