cmcconnell....A lady once told me to put baking powder in a warm bath & it help clear chicken pox up quicker. I tried this with my ds & his weren't as itchy & cleared up straight away with no scarring! I wish I knew this before my dd got them as hers really scarred. HTH xBig thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0

think im on my own in here now but thought id say that DH and i have decided that i will go yto this course tomorrow because although the chicken pox is nasty it is only a 2 week (max) thing. where as her Autism will be something she will always have to some degree and if i dont go on this course they might not let me re-take it... and if you miss the level 1 u cant do any of the others. so, longterm its the right thing to do. ( i'll just ring home at every given chance)I can only please one person a day.... Today is not your day. Tomorrow doesn't look good either!!very greatful for almost everything i read on MSE (except for the nasties!)0

Hiya everyone.
Really sad about Jade...although we knew it was coming, still came as a shock, world seems like a much quieter and sad place without her! RIP! xxx
cmc - Sounds like you made a good decision about the course tomorow, cos as you said the autism is for her whole life, and you could always ring home to check on her...but most probably she will be fine, and you'll just be worrying over nothing!
Sounds like your dd is suffering, but just think it only lasts for about 2 weeks, so they shhould go soon! xxx
I've got tomorow off!!!:j
Its a study day, next one is in 2 weeks, gonna make the most of the time...and enter comps!!:D
Getting abit depressed...thinking about the meaning of life...cant really think of anything i really wanna live for!:mad:0 -

Hi
Best thing I found for chicken pox (and sunburn and other itches) is put some oats in an old clean sock or make a bag out of a hankie and let it soak in the warm water for a bit, squeeze it out - turns the water a bit milky looking - but is so soothing and perfectly fine for all ages
HTHHappy with any wins this year :A0 -

Thanks for that!!
I would love love, and then kids with that love...but it would have to be a pretty special guy who would be with me...they'd have to look past outer beauty!
Don't think theres any men like that about...i mean when men see an "ugly girl" they look the other way, don't take her seriously, but that ugly girl needs someone too!!:o
And, i am adament im not going abroad...cos i know i probably might meet someone nice...but they won't really like me, but would just be using me for a passport into the UK! I am quite stubborn, so no-ones gonna force me!
Thats why im thinking all the money/things i've got, its not making me happy, and with no person i love/kids, nothing to live for...what is the point of life...if im only gonna die anyway?0
