Virgin media
Maybeanotherday

I just wanted to put a little complaint up about virgin media....
The other day I couldn't access my email account but didnt think too much of it as the number you call said that the areas internet was down...
Then after two days of the same automated message I called them and asked to be put through to an adviser....
The adviser came back with this:
For some reason my email account had been "cut-off" this was due to the "customer" cutting virgin off....
I said thats can't be right I still have all my services
Then the guy on the other side of the phone quoted an address that I had been living at 3years ago! apparently virgin hadn't realised I had moved as the emails are working off a different system????
Anyway to cut a long story short and three operators later they told me that I was now in a blueyonder area (previous area NTL)and I could no longer have my email addresses...nor could I access my address books on the two accounts as they had been lost!
So I now have a blueyonder email account and none of my friends or work collegues email addresses!

So from now on you'll probably keep a paper copy of their email addresses - won't you?0

Seems a bit stupid, but a complaint through (By phone or there website) And try and get an email address etc

Personally i would stick to hotmail/yahoo/gmail They are free and wont "cut off" your email address
