Hi guys just wanted to warn you to stay away from the guys above if possible!!
My husband has had a policy with them for quite a while, then when his policy didnt come through in the post he gave them a call to find out where it was and what the new price was.....
The chap on the phone got funny with him and said he had not informed them of the change of address...he explained that he did and while doing so added me to the policy..they confirmed I was on the policy but not the new address
Then when quoting our new address they said that the company they where using couldnt insure us here....it would cost £190 to get out of the old policy (which they cancelled due to the address????) and £100 for them to start the new insurance policy.
Me and my other half where less than impressed but rather than go through all the hassle stayed on with them THEN today they sent out a letter asking for my husbands proof of no claims???? They have looked after his account for the last few years and we have only recieved documents off them nobody else...they are saying they don't [provide the proof of no claims???
Just a complete mess
They say they will call you and don't!
They say they will send out documents and don't!
They say they are offering the best deal and certaintly ARE NOT!
Sorry rant over :money:

Generally if an Insurer does not want to Insure you any more eg you have moved to an address they won't cover they normally do not impose penalty fees for cancelling (Allen and Allen may make their standard charges as per their Terms and Conditions).
Ring them and ask is the cancellation based on a Pro Rata Basis and if not why not0 -
Unfortunatly my hubby has agreed to take the policy now BUT I was really confused how they could ask him for the no claims proof when they have been personally managing his account for the past few years?:rolleyes:0

They have either lost it or forgot to ask you for it, I would suggest you dig out your old documents for your previous Insurer, get the Policy number and give this to Allen and Allen and tell them to ring the other Insurer to confirm it0
