eBaY Furniture Pick Up

Hello everyone
I am after a used sofa but I've always been put off the idea of getting one off ebay as I don't know how to go about getting it picked up. I don't have a van myself and I don't know anyone that does who I could ask a favour. I am only looking at distances of 25 miles from my home.
Has anyone on here got any ideas or experience with this sort of thing?
thanks
Andy

Ring a few man with van outfits from he yellow pages.
Ask the seller if they can help you (for a fee).
Hire a van for half a day.0 -
I'd just hire a van for 4 hours/half day, something like a transit will cost you £25-30.
Failing that go with "man with van" as MX5huggy says.0 -
