Dammit - I just paid £22 for a Kingtson 512mb high speed card
I can also highly recomment Picstop - got a 1gb Sandisk Untra II card for about £43 the other day - ordered at 16:45 and arrived at 8:30 the next dayI'm Not A Dog But I May Be Mad0 -

Can anyone tell me what brands are faster SD cards, I can never find any speeds so no idea if card is fast or slow.

I would not bother looking for so called high speed SD cards.
You are unlikely to notice any difference in speed unless you want to save 1/100th of a second
Just another marketing gimmick to get people to pay more for the same thing you can get cheaper and does same job in same time0 -
The electronics in most low-end cameras, smartphones, PDAs etc are usually too slow to take advantage of fast sd cards, but they're worthwhile for hi-resolution cameras and DSLRs as they can reduce the time between shots considerably, and they make a considerable difference when writing to the card using a PC drive. There's much less difference between cards in read speed though, so if you want a card to store MP3s on your phone or PDA, a 'slow' one should be fine.0
