I swear by mine. Used daily. Today it was strawberries, bananas and the Baileys cream left overs from yesterdays pud.

A juicer, there are six of us and it takes loads of fruit to get a half decent glass of juice. Cleaning it was a real chore - DH passed it to a friend.

I've got a juicer and love it, it's a Philips one and really easy to clean as long as you do it straight away, all it needs is a quick rinse. But it doesn't get used as often as I'd like because of the price of fruit, it mainly gets used if I manage to pick up some reduced bargains.

i currently have an ornamental slow cooker (somewhere agree with everyone else on taste, smells etc)
    juicer (binned)
kenwood chef, (i get on just as well with a small hand held mixer and its easier to store than the kenwood, i cant bring myself to get rid of it though.)
a really posh and expensive knife block with useless knives in (husband chose this so feel it has to sit somewhere prominent in the kitchen gathering grease and dust)
microwave (i only melt the butter in it during the winter)
tumble drier (too expensive to run)
small tv taking up precious space on worktop (i dont watch tv)
loads of rusty baking trays (why dont i throw them out)
    microwave egg poacher (useless)
hob egg poacher pan (too hard to clean)
food processor (too hard to clean)
panasonic breadmaker ( only good for pizza bases but was too expensive to get rid off)

    what a waste of money
    regards

Just to add to my Lidl coffee flask, I would like to add the V-cutter as several people have mentioned.

Though must say a word for the slow cooker as it has come in for a knocking on this thread. Seems a waste of time but the big advantage is that you can dump the ingredients in it and go away and leave it until the time for serving without any fear of boiling dry or burning.

Also, it can be put in an outhouse so that there are no cooking odours in the house at all and this can be a big advantage over cooking normally in the kitchen. Further to that, you can prepare the food in the morning, put it in the slow cooker and then set it to swich on say mid morning by using a simple 13amp socket timer and when you come home you have a cooked meal ready to serve.
