Hi just found this site and wondered if anyone could help me.
I have £3000 on my hsbc cc and £200 on my capital one.
Im struggeling with the minimum payment on my hsbc card (£149 pm) so im thinking of applyin for a 0% btf card.
There are so many to choose from , Im confused !!!!
Im not the brightest with the cc thing so can anyone help me choose one!!!
I just want to pay off my card and be det free and then cut them up.
Online applications i would prefer.
Thanks.

Most cards that are 0% will charge a balance transfer fee, some don't, I think Virgin doesn't as long as you do the balance transfer at time of application (I might be wrong), I recently took out a Natwest and Lloyds TSB card and neither charged a fee. I'm a little out of touch at the mo but hopefully someone who knows more will be along soon.
BUT an all 0% cards you still have to make the minimum monthly payment or they will cancel the 0%, this differs from card to card, normall around 2% or 3%, I know with MBNA cards (Virgin is one) it's only £5 but to clear the debt quicker you might want to make bigger payments as you can afford.2p off is still 2p off!0 -
