Has anyone heard of them?

Have just received a call from them in regards to holding shares. The person that called me told me about the business and that they do a client recommendation of 5 companies to invest in and they do not charge commission unless you make over 20% profit from their shares.

I asked for their website and they gave me:

What does anyone think?

Also they have their main offices in Chicago and their European office in Switzerland.

do they share in the losses ?

tell you what - I'll recommend 5 companies to you, and I'll pay the commission. If they go up more than 20% we split the profits 50:50

A good rule of thumb is that anyone cold calling you on investments is either doing so fraudulently or is desperate. Neither of which you want with an investment firm.

If the firm isnt based in the UK and is not authorised by the FSA then you have no consumer protection at all.
