Insurance advice please

I mentioned in another thread about going on holiday well I might have a little problem so any info regarding holiday insurance would be muchly appreciated.

My hubby has a bad back, he has been to see the consultant and he reckons that if he operated then my hubby would be worse off. so in a nutshell will we have problems getting insurance because of his bad back ? He has had this back injury for approx 9 months now and has been off work since the accident, mainly to do with the fact that he is in the heavy labouring trade and could not manage to do the heavy lifting his job requires.

Any info you think I need to know then please do post.

I'm not sure if this is relevant for your situation. It seems insurance companies are much more concerned about providing insurance if you are in the process of diagnosis and decisions regarding treatment than if you have a definite but stable condition. My sister was refused insurance because she said she was under investigation for glaucoma as soon as she said she definitely had it and had a treatment regime she was given insurance with no restrictions.
