I just want to say a big thanks to my local Currys store for being so helpful recently. I bought a new wireless printer a few weeks ago but when DH went to install it we found that I had been charged for the wireless one but had in fact been given a different (non wi-fi) one. So we took it back and swapped it for the right one.
This one has given us nothing but trouble, it would keep disconnecting itself and would only work on the administrator screen of the computer, so absolutely no use to the kids who wanted it to print homework. Then it decided it didn't want to scan as well as only printing half a pge of a document before sending error messages. We followed all the prompts it gave us and in the end spent over 40 minutes on the phone to tech help (premium rate):mad:
So I phoned Currys and explained I wasn't happy with it, They told me to take it in and they would hook it up to one of their pc's and if it was a problem I could swap it. I took it in and after explaining I REALLY was not happy with it they let me swap it for another printer altogether, instead of just replacing it like for like.
This one is great, a lot more features AND it works! Ok, so it's not wireless but I can live with that.
So a BIG thanks to the helpful staff at Currys (Dorchester) :T
