does anyone know how to take a jo jo cable reel apart,the end of the cable where it fastens to the reel has frayed.I cant find any screws to undoe yet it is somehow fastened in the centre.Thanks in advance.

They are held together by two plastic lugs on the centre spindle, prising it apart will probably snap them off so you will be unable to reassemble it. You can get at the lugs by removing (prising off) the sockets housing although this is held by lugs (4) too which may well break off if you're not carefull. They are not really designed to take apart.0
