I would like to move a radiator and make some adjustments to my taps (fit a garden hose, type things).

What would i need as a basic toolkit?

I have a 15mm pipe cutter already. (gotta start somewhere)

Does anybody do a cheap kit?

Wickes do some kits, in my experience pretty helpful with advice and what you need.

Not a fully inclusive list but for starters.....

    Dust sheet
    Plastic sheet
    Container for rad content
    Hose pipe
    Wet and dry vac
    Torch/Gas/Heat mats
    Abrasive pad, etc
    2 x spanners
    Wrench
    Pipe bender

    Solder
    Flux
    Pipe
    Endfeeds
    New valves?

Something like this. For a DIYer expect its better to use solder joints rather then buying a bender. Benders are used as it reduces the number of joints which equals faster, cheaper and can look better.

IMHO your better off using spanners (or adjustable spanners) as they will mark the valves less. eg, this

Get yourself a fine round file for cleaning up the edges of the pipe once you've cut it.
