Good morning all
I've not been posting so regularly on here as (sorry if this offends) but as I'm not a runner/never intend to be a runner/didn't go to the meet, then I seem to feel a bit excluded....but as it's a positive thoughts kinda day then I'm here and I will post my drivel regardless of who reads it.
As chat seems to be staying put here and lots of newbies may find it now the diaries have been moved, maybe it's a good time to show them all how it's done and give a DFW tip that's helped you the most....
Mine has to be meal planning/grocery challenge, which has cut our grocery bill by half each month.....and I hardly ever throw anything away now."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -

No need to feel that - the closest I come to being a runner is to eat the beans...but as it's a positive thoughts kinda day then I'm here and I will post my drivel regardless of who reads it.

I'm no runner either pookie, I don't see the point when I have a perfectly good car parked on the drive
OhI've just noticed the post baby hair falling out has started. i thought I'd got away with it this time seeing as it's 4 months on but I've just noticed the carpet is looking pretty covered in my hair. I hate it, I always end up with almost bald patches along my hair line. I don't know how people going through chemo cope. When Mum lost hers she just shaved it all off the day she started treatment so she didn't have to look at the hair falling. Not planning on anything that drastic though.
Other news, I have a poorly 12 year old. Bless her she has glandular fever and is really feeling awful. She is skin and bone because she just can't eat. It's been a week now of her being rough but the blood results just came through today.:A

Morning!
*Bunny puts on BIG STUPID GRIN* Apparently if you make yourself smile, it makes you happy.
Not that I am unhappy, just stupid tired as DS wee'd the bed last night AGAIN and had to come sleep with me and it's like sleeping with an octopus with claws...(and MOre BLOODY LAUNDRY!)
I really cannot wait to go for a run tonight (sorry Pooky) but I also need groceries badly...now, do I pop into ALDI on the way home and then go for a run or just go straight home, run and do an online shop later???? Answers on a postcard please? (and may I mention, I have £135 to last me til payday and that needs to pay for groceries, and petrol and present for MIL for Mothers Day *sigh*) I can do an ALDI shop for the next 1.5 week easily £60, petrol £20 which leaves me £55 until payday...Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -
Hey y'all
Not being funny but the board looks really depressing. Now that the diaries have gone up above all I can see is the threads thats say people can't cope - they are depressed, going through hell......I almost wept this morning....
So come on lets show the newbies and those that are down, (anniestar get yourself in here!) that there are positives to be had in this situation, there is help out there and people have gone through what they have gone through and survived.
Morning everyone :hello:
I have to ask, didn't someone respond to each of us when we were 'down', 'depressed' and 'suicidal' re debts, that's how we got here isn't it?;)
I mean no one is going to hang around an unfriendly and unsupportive board.
If people feel 'overwhelmed' with the posts, just look at one or two and answer or support whichever one you can.
Anyways, my 'positive' tip for today is, have a look at the freebies board and see what you can get for free. A nice surprise through the post can really perk you up and there is tons of stuff out there.:D

morning everyone, after the nice welcome yesterday I thought i would come back. Started this walking/running programme yesterday I got out of the sainsburys mag and today is a day of rest so I have just done a pilates dvd I bought ages ago and never did so raring to go now. have day off today so have just written a list of things need doing (love ticking them off) and the biggest one is to sort the shed which I keep putting off!
Bunny, I too had trouble with my son and his night time habits, he wasnt dry in the day until he was nearly 5 (used to take about 4 pairs of trs with me everywhere). Had problems at night till he was about 9, he just grew out of it. He was referred to the hospital and they gave him one of those alarms that fitted to his pjs but it wasnt very successful. He used to wear those pyjama pants until he decided he didnt want to anymore. Hard now I know with all the washing but he will stop one day honest! Fingers Crossed:rolleyes:0 -
am ill still have to go in to work.
it was too late to phone in sick. so I have to go in and be sent home. which never happens.
I loathe my job.really seriously do loathe it.
the best thing that has helped re dfw is payment a day and only using cash.
take care all

Morning all - big hugs to those (and their relatives) who are feeling poorly or fed up today.
I had a bad night's sleep - was a bit hyper yesterday and couldn't settle, then when I did sleep I had very weird and scary dreams
But on the positive vibe.. I had a good evening before that, had a lovely tea of prawns cooked in garlic, chilli and white wine, with spinach, cherry tomatoes and wholemeal bread - it looked so nice I wish I could have taken a photo :rotfl: Then had a good giggle having a very silly text conversation with one of my mates. And this morning I had a lovely chilled out ten minutes checking out the garden and a nice walk to workDebt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
