    I've worked in benefits for a while and ever heard of Direct Payment being instant. Its always taken 3 days.

    I'll probably get pelters for saying this but thank **** the claimants in northern Ireland dont know such a thing exists. It would make things a lot harder. We generally re-issue it as a giro and through the post.
