I've just finished a PhD thesis and I should be pleased.

Sadly I'm finding it more difficult to format the damn thing than it was to write it.

I'm wasting hours and I just can't do it :mad: :mad:

I'm on word for mac.

I 've got a full document set up. have done the abstract, table of contents, added 11 chapters, Bibliography.

Those just need checking to make sure everything's on the right page.

My trouble is formatting 200+ pages of transcripts.

They look a bit like this...

1 P: hello nurse
2 N: hello Jack (.) how are you?
3 P: I've got a pain in my back
4 N: I'll go and get you something for that

I want to make a style template so that the margins are right and the spacing is correct. The transcripts I'm working with are all over the place!

Is there an easy way?
