    Hi

Am glad the car has sold, you are doing really well getting your debt down. Is your house on the market yet?

We have had to add our credit card debt onto our mortgage, I know it is not advised to do that but there was no other way, we were drowning in the interest every month. I still have £3k on a 0% for another 8 months and about £2.5k on my 6.9% for life of balance card, but I have a few grand in the bank and will decide which card to pay more off at the end of the month, it's just nice to have some money in the bank for a change.

Some of the CC debt is OH's mums as he lent her £9k on his credit card over 2 years ago and she told him she would pay him back within a few months but 2 years on there is still no sign of the money and she keeps delaying things, she was telling OH for the last 4/5 months that she was remortgaging in August and then 3 weeks ago when she was here she told him she was remortgaging at the end of the year (this really annoyed me and has caused quite a few rows between me and OH as he has given her more than enough chances and she keeps delaying). Then last week OH brother tells him that he spoke to her and she told him she was 3 months in arrears on her mortgage so that does not sound good, I hope she doesn't end up losing the house as she owes OH £62k as she still owes him, his two brothers and sister their £50k each inheritance.

I've not been doing the Ebay challenge recently but need to get back on it as still have a few grand left to clear and I am desperate to be debt free. I've missed your posts on there, how is your Ebay Business going? Mine is OK, have just reduced all the Summer stuff to clear it as am getting some more stock in a couple of weeks.

Hi MrsC congrats on getting the car sold! £500pcm will definitely help.

Hi TMD - I can understand why you put it on the mortgage. we had put a lot on the mortgage before we ever joined mse. You can always make overpayments on your mortgage when you get straighter...

    Hi SH

It is a relief knowing we won't have all the credit card bills coming in each month, will still have a few grand left but at least that is manageable and will be making over payments.

    How are you?

    Hi TMD

We have had a weird couple of years... My favourite temp job came to an end about a year ago. I am now on my fourth job since then! 3 "crashed and burned" temp jobs in between! So debt has started going up... I am hoping that this month it can start going down properly again. Our mortgage is about to drop from £750+ to £189 from next month! Woohoo:j:j

Hi HTGDF We are going from 5.95% fixed rate to 1.45% variable tracker rate! interest only. We are going to prioritise our general debts and then the mortgage once the credit cards have gone and poss the student loan that they don't seem to have a record of and which isn't listed in my figures anywhere..

    MrsC hope you are okay
