ok i have a problem.. need advice.

bought some trainers... perhaps they a little young for me! ok dont say it! they are babycham but i bought them cos they have sparkly hearts on them .. ok so they come with these really long laces... but how do you tie them? clearly i cant tie in a bow.. looks like im a loser when i do....

come on trendies... telll me the secret?

Trendy is not to tie them, but to be really trendy you have somehow or other to avoid falling over. You can get shorter laces you know.

Could all the hits from the social bookmarking people be from Austen fans? The way I see it social bookmarking is a quick reference so your name being two famous Austen characters from Pride and Prejudice leads people to assume your shop specialises in all things Austen much like The Jane Austen shop

As for the shoe laces I don't think you're supposed to tie them. Either they drag along the ground or you transform them into a chessboard much like these and then wear them like slip ons. If they're the nylon sort you can always cut them to the length you wnat and then melt the end with a fag-lighter to stop them fraying. The cotton sort you havce to bind very tightly with narrow electrical sticky tape which you can get in red.

Theres even a webpage dedicted to extra long laces here
