here on the roller coster of debt... im currently in a low :-(

and its a hard slog up to the next high...when will it all level out.

It does seem like a never ending journey getting to the end of the debt, I'll still have 20k debt left once I get my Endowment money but I'm hoping that as 3 of them are low interest (1 6.9 until paid off, 1 7.9 until paid off and one 0% for a year) the other one is the highest interest and I have 6.5k on that one but that is the one I'll be making the over payments too.

We will all get there eventually, you are doing really well so far, at least you have the car and the watch which will hopefully give you a boost.

In my experience it will never be level for long enough for you to feel safe again. Or maybe that's just my paranoia that comes from five years of turbulence, trauma and uncertainty.

However, I am much better at dealing with the individual crises, and I appreciate the highs much more than I ever did before the end of the world came.

My next plan of action, after the debt be gone, is to start saving for the next disaster!

I totally agree htgdf, creditors need to get realistic, the times I have spent say if I haven't got it you can't have it, so the argument continues having had a discussion with 1 recently when she was saying that my repayment wasn't enough :mad:and it should be atleast £700 per month:rotfl:and my response was ( take me to court then, you wont get more than i can afford) considering I have kept to my payment agreement since it was put in place. take em out give a slap with a wet fish.

wow ... we are all very reflective this evening.. look how much we have learnt from our situations.
yes i agree, we will never b able to take our eye off the ball like we used to. we all know that after the debt has gone that we need to prepare for a drought again financially speaking. i never ever want credit again - never. i used to not carry cash around... so that spending didnt actually feel like real money. now i prefer to spend real money. if i physically have it in my purse and hand it over then i know its been spent. i hate the situation of waiting for the credit card bill.

sooo onwards dear friends - lets continue on our good and faithful path, sometimes we will have a wobble and fall off... but on the whole.. we have made great progress ! xx

We are all very reflective aren't we? We should be positive though, so many people are still out there, not having faced up to their debts and haven't found the support on here to get us through it all.

We will all get out to the green grass one day, just might be a while, but just imagine the party and all the spare cash when we get there!
