  • Oh, don't know what is going on but I don't think a mom who is doing all she can to keep house and home together can be selfish so please be a wee bit kinder to yourself.

    Hope everything is okay...

  • I will be controversial here and say that you are allowed to feel sorry for yourself if you want to but do not say you are selfish, when we see all the effort you are putting into your family and making a better life for them.

We're here if you're having a bad day, do you want to offload? (((()))))

  • Hi Mrs CMR

Thanks for your advice re ebay on the ebay thread. You are not selfish. Ive not been a great entry writer into other people's diaries simply for time management reasons. Nevertheless, I have been reading yours from time to time, the odd few posts to keep up with how you are doing, and you are doing so v well. You are most certainly not selfish, you have shown immense courage in dealing with your situation, and are being so v proactive in every way possible to get back on an even track. Sometimes, we are our own worst critics, thats certainly true of me too, just take it easy on yourself.

So, another day at home for me. It is simply too icy and snowy here for me to even risk working or going out anywhere. A neighbour has taken dd to school and will be collecting her for me from school at 3. Dd usually goes to an after school club today, and it would be good if she could go because I could do prospect calls in peace, however, I just would not be able to physically collect her, so am cancelling her going. I will still have to pay for the session I should think, but the ice is really thick here and its just not worth the risk. So take care where you are Mrs CMR.

More snow is forecast for tonite here, will have to go with the flow if they are right. Hence my ebay queries because Im thinking I will need to focus on ebay once all my business work I can do is done, to ensure Im keeping the monies in as best I can. Have a good day.
My debts at LBM (2009)Grand Total £161,983.77.(Incs everything, mtge, cr cards, loans)

Hi there Mrs mcr, I have found you again! I am glad that you managed to have a good christmas, and hope that you are not shivering too much in all that snow. On the other hand I have just seen on the news that south east Australia is having terrible heatwave, with terrible risk of bush fires. So from one extreme to the other.

I am glad that the tax money came through to save you this month, but in all honesty how much longer can you squeak through now? Surely you have to think about a DMP. If your OH's wage is not going to cover all of the outgoings next month, then that is the crunch point isn't it?

It is laudable that you want to pay it back, but I seriously don't understand why you would want that level of stress, when you don't need to have it?

good luck with whatever you decide to do

I want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

  • That sounds good news on the extra you'll have left this month, will keep my fingers crossed for you that it works out.

I echo what Chevalier says in that maybe you should think about a DMP before the stress gets too much, although I also understand how you want to sort it all out yourself.

Hope you are feeling a little bit better xx

  • Well done on the £3k leftovers!! All your hard work is starting to pay off. I was watching some Jim Rohn's video s on youtube - very inspiring. He taught all these modern day personal development everything they know.

He talks about the seasons, planting in the Spring, tending to stuff in the summer, reaping in the autumn and yes having horrible winters. If you get it wrong you get another chance to start again in the Spring using what you learned.

I think what I have worked out is that I worked hard in the Spring but taken the Summer off (and have enjoyed myself) but come back in the Autumn and there's nothing left - it's all gone - all the good jobs, houses, men ha ha!! It is now a bit of a winter but there is another chance to start again in the Spring. Ohmygosh I hope I don't sound like a nutter:rotfl:.

I think you are managing to salvage the end of the Summer and get the crop in. What do you think?
