What is the current version of Zonealarm?

Have just downloaded Zonealarm version 8 (free) from their website. Looking at the product info it is version 8.0.065.00 I have heard that version 8.0.298.000 has been out for a while. But when i click on 'check for updates' it does not come up saying that there is a new version available.
Am i best manually updating to v8.0.298.000?

Id advise sticking with auto updates for zonealarm. Some of their updates can be a tad dodgy so they might have stopped them for a reason:idea:0
