Private Pilot flying on Holiday

We used to live in Texas and are going back there for a holiday. My Husband learnt to fly there and wished to do some flying in a small plane again(much cheaper than UK). Normal holiday insurance only covers extra things like skiing. I rang up Norwich Union and, although helpful, I could not get a quote for private flying. I found another insurer Insure and go 0800 0838333 . I told them the problem and unlike Norwich Union they had a ready answer. I could insure for an extra 3.45 a day for the days my Husband is going to pilot a plane. Not only that, but the quote for annual insurance for both of us was 60 pounds cheaper than Norwich union. I paid for 3 days for flying and was told that I could ring up and add extra days as and when required. What a superb service.
