Hi John,
I believe your referring to my other thread here. The router mentioned in this thread can deliver speeds up to 54mbps whereas the router advertised here, can deliver much faster speeds at a rate of 125mbps.
Now I'm no techie, but I am guessing that this router, being more than twice as fast, will improve your wireless broadband speeds considerably.......Or the effect may be completely negligible (as the data transfer speeds may be restricted by your actual BB connection).
I'm sure a more knowledgeable MSE will enlighten us on this issue.0 -
My understanding is that 2Mb broadband can only deliver 2Mbps, so this won't speed up your connection.0

You will not notice any difference in speed when connecting to your broadband.
It is only any good if you have two devices communicating with one another as long as they have speedbooster cards. Even then 125mbps is theoretical.
Still better than not having it but I would not pay much of a premium for it.
