Brilliant, thank you all so much! Special thanks to mummysaver for breaking her neck lugging veggies upstairs for me ;) Sounds like either the medium or large would be about right for us.

    Thanks to all! FF

That's okay - bad back (fell down the stairs last Sunday!) is better now - but not for long if I lump veggies about too much, though need to remove them soon as dh will wonder why the veg box is in his office!

Riverford will let you order as a one off, and you can change or stop your order each week, so this may help whilst you try out different box sizes.

    Hi

I've been getting the Riverford mixed fruit & veg box at £13, it gives 7 different items of veg, usually 2 or 3 of each of the smaller veg like leaks, peppers & parsnips and one each of larger veg like cabbage, swede etc, a punnet of cherry toms or mushrooms etc, and 3 different fruits like 4 oranges, 5 apples, 5 or 6 bananas, etc. I've not found it to be the best size for us & am switiching next week to the small veg box which offers 8 different veggies plus a £4 fruit bag which gives 4 different fruits so 2 extra selections for the same money!

I have found their quality to be excellent.

    HTH;)

I've been trying to locate someone in my area to deliver Organic Fruit & Veg Boxes. I've not been successfull :o

North Staffs - anyone know a good company?

Might be just out of their area, but might be worth a phone call to The Old Creamery?

    Regards,

    White.
