I think there has been a b@lls up somewhere along the line.

As far as I know I am with Scottish Power for my gas and elec having recently changed from another provider.

However I am getting bills come through for this same address but in my wifes name from E.on

How can I check who I should actually be paying????

Check which company offers the cheaper price for you in your area and contact them to tell them you are being billed twice. And warn the other company.

Also apologise to her. You know you're the one in the wrong.

Hi Holeypockets

Check the meter serial numbers. They are usually on a plaque on the front of the meters.

See which bill they correspond with. Whoever is billing to the meters in your property is your supplier.

Give us a call if you are still unsure. We will check the national databases for you.

If we are not the supplier we will then be able to sort it out for you.
