My landlord has switched the property to a new agent. What are my rights?

My landlord has switched the property to a new agent. Does it legally give me any rights or oppotunities? I am on periodic tennancy with two months notice. Is current contract between agent and me valid? What if I will refuse to sign a contract with a new letting agent if there are unacceptable conditions? Who will keep the deposit? There are some oral agreements with the old letting agent regarding the inventory and condition of the property, how can I keep these agreements valid?
Is there any source like direct.gov.uk which answers all the questions like these regarding a change of letting agent by the landlord?

    You have no contract with the agent. Your only contract is with the landlord. Landlord has contract with the agent. You should be wholly unaffected except for administration matters.

    get them in writing

    check with the deposit scheme that your deposit is lodged with that the old agent has handed over responsibility to the new agent.

    ask for a new tenancy agreement if you are worried - but i would wait and see what the new agent does first

    Thank you. Here is one more question. Can I end the tennancly with shorter notice than described in the agreement for this reason if I do not like the new agency?

    Why would the fact that you do not like the LA affect anything - is there a problem with the property? Has there been a change in your circumstances?

    Not liking the LA is irrelevant to anything when it comes to Tenancy Agreements
