It looks delicious. I'd use pretty much any green veg in it I think.0

Just have to come back on to say I made this tonight...with red and green peppers, onion, garlic, cooked ham, mayonnaise and dijon mustard.... and it was ABSOLUTELY gorgeous. OH and son kept going on about it.
I didn't think the petrol price to go to the Aldi on the other side of town was worth it just to buy two packs of croissant doughso I made it with JusRol puff pastry (not very OS admittedly) I found in the chiller of my local Asda.
Well worth trying!! here's what I used
8 oz chopped cooked ham
1/2 each red and green pepper, seeded and finely diced
One chopped onion
1 clove garlic, pressed
(5 oz) grated cheese
Three big table spoons mayonnaise
One tablespoons Dijon mustard
Salt and pepper
Squirt of lemon juice
egg to glaze
Preheat oven to 190°C/fan 170°C/Gas 5. Chop all veg and ham, and add to bowl, add garlic, cheese, seasoning, lemon juice, mayonnaise, dijon mustard ....and mix well.
Unroll croissant dough and separate, or cut Puff P into rectangles, then half again diagonally into triangle shapes. Arrange dough triangles in a circle at the wide edge, on baking parchment on a baking tray/pizza tray as described in post #10. Spoon mix evenly onto widest end of dough triangles. Bring points of triangles up and over filling and press down.
Brush egg over dough. Grate a little cheese over top. Bake 25-30 minutes or until deep golden brown. Slice and serve with salad.....Life.

Bring it on! :j0
