Bournemouth days out discounts

The family are going to Bournemouth for a week soon and i am after days out discounts etc.
I have tried searching but can't seem to find anything. I have tesco vouchers for meals but would like discounts for places, days out.
Please can anyone help or point me in the right direction? ( i have heard the aquarium is good , feedback on this would be welcome too!)

Thank you

  • My parents used to take us to Bournemouth a lot when I was a kid. That is going back a long long time. But we always used to visit Corfe castle which used to be free. And the Poole Potteries where my mum would but a new dinner service every time.

Moors Valley Country Park is about a 15 minute drive away and is great for a cheap day out - you just pay for parking. There is a play trail, plenty of wooded walks, 2 lovely parks, a cafe and lake. If it is nice there are some nice picnic areas aswell. It worth looking at the Bournemouth Echo or local rdio website - 2CR as they also have more local events on them.

There are lots of National Trust places down here in Dorset, so getting yourself a membership might be worthwhile - and im sure if you did a bit of digging you could find a discount or special offer - i know quidco used to do one.
Many of the national trust properties host special events for famillies, such as easter egg hunts, meet the animals etc etc.

Examples of national trust places near Bournemouth:

Brownsea Island £13 per family - free if member of national trust
Corfe Castle - £14.75 per family - free if member of national trust
Studland beach - up to £6 per day parking charge - free if member of national trust
Kingston Lacy - £25 per family - free if member of national trust
Hardys Cottage - £3.50 per person - free if ... im sure you get the idea now :rotfl:

Swanage Railway and beach, they sometimes have events on down at the beach !!.... Ocean Aquarium is good if you have a discount however expensive for what you actually get personally!!! ... Weymouth sea life centre is meant to be good, you can spend the whole day there in the paddling pool and crazy golf, watch the animals being feed..... Tower Park has Splash Down for the olders kids who love water rides, Bingo, plenty of places to eat, Bowling, Cinema and the Arcade plus its free parking!!! Hope this helps have fun !!
