don`t forget you are signing up to a book club, but as it says in t+c`s you may cancel your membership anytime.
only problem is they begin to send out books you don`t always want.
i just read the t+c`s and i am not going to sign up.

This "free book" offer is run by Grolier, a company that I had great problems with in the past.

Their Customer Services are contactable by post, and very hard to get a response from them when you need one.

I returned some Disney "fun learning" books a couple of years ago, they said they'd not received them - and I couldn't find the receipt for sending them back, so I was expected to pay a couple of hundred quid.

Managed to get it sorted out, but it took forever - and I kept getting statements with a fine added for non payment.

I've done this before and was bombarded with books! Even when i asked them to cancel several times. It's more hassle than it's worth..so beware please.

They send in invoices for the books that you've sent back and there can also be hassle sending any unwanted books back.

    Hi all,

Please note that you are NOT signing up for a book club on this freebie, just a free book that is being promoted with McDonalds Happy Meals.

Just make sure that you select the option to just get the book (and don't go for the book club option) and you'll be fine.

I got mine last week and my son loves it.

    Take care.

if you read the t+c`s it says you may cancel membership at any time, and i also don`t see an option just to get a free book.

just be aware of these types of book clubs

It's on page two of the application.

You have an option which says "just send me my free book" and another which says "please send my six trial books etc. for the book club"
